The right help at the right time can change everything.

Every crisis is a turning point — and a mental health crisis shouldn’t land you in an E.R. waiting room or a jail cell. It should lead you to the place where hope begins.

That’s why we are on a mission to build a 24/7 facility for immediate evaluation, stabilization, and whole-person healing that will serve Lincoln and the surrounding communities.

what we’re building

We are on a mission to build southeast Nebraska’s leading crisis care center and transform whole-person care at the Health 360 campus.

In Nebraska, we prioritize safe neighborhoods. We invest in strong schools. Lincoln is home to some of the state’s best hospitals and rehabilitation facilities. It’s time to make whole-person care accessible to anyone who needs it, at any time of any day.

What does the building plan include?

NEW! Crisis Intervention Center
offering immediate assessment, care, and next steps 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Reimagined arrival and intake experience with a more accessible welcome desk and check-in flow.

Distinct entrances based on care needs to enhance privacy and reduce congestion.

Updated staff spaces to support coordination across medicine, therapy, and behavioral health teams.

Mobile Crisis Response to provide immediate support and onsite stabilization across southeast Nebraska.

WHY IT MATTERS

Crisis Care Offers Hope

Hope for students who feel crushed by overwhelming moments. For families navigating tough times. For first responders who wish there were safe alternatives for individuals experiencing mental crises.

Without dedicated crisis care, we rely on hospital emergency rooms and police stations — institutions that do good work, but aren’t equipped to do it all.

10x More Likely

People living with mental health challenges are ten times more likely to be incarcerated than hospitalized.

About the Health 360 Campus

The Health 360 model of care was built on the understanding that, when mental health and physical health are treated separately, people fall through the cracks. We’re on a mission to provide a safety net — and eliminate the cracks.

Health 360 of Lincoln is powered by Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska in partnership with Bluestem Health and Genoa Healthcare®. The Health 360 campus represents a smarter, more compassionate investment in helping people heal — and stay healthy.

How is the Crisis Intervention Center Different From Existing Facilities?

Unlike other local facilities, the Crisis Intervention Center is not referral-based and does not require law enforcement involvement. Care is voluntary, immediate, and centered on the individual. What truly sets this facility apart is its integrated, on-site model of care. Through partnerships with Bluestem and Genoa, individuals can access medical support and pharmacy services at the same location where they receive crisis care — creating a clearer, faster path to recovery.

WHAT’S NEXT

Investing in Hope

The Health 360 and Crisis Intervention Center capital project is expected to cost $10 million, with funding raised through private philanthropy and grant support.

Phase 1

Crisis Intervention Center $1.5 Million

Phase 1 will fund the new Crisis Intervention Center wing. Construction will begin as soon as the estimated $1.5 million price tag is raised.

Phase 2

Health 360 Facility Transformation $8.5 Million
Phase 2 of this project will modernize and expand the Health 360 facility. Upgrades will ensure that individuals who enter through the Crisis Intervention Center can immediately connect to ongoing care.
